THE STUPA WAS BUILT SO THAT ALL BEINGS MAY ATTAIN ENLIGHTENMENT

Stupas are placed on a square base, and the four sides represent the four directions, North, South, East and West. At the top of Stupa is a Spire, which symbolizes a line through the earth’s center around which the Universe is thought to revolve.

Many believe that circumambulating a Stupa purifies negative Karma and fosters realizations to the path to Enlightenment.

When you enter the 11 foot high Stupa, you should bow to the Buddha inside and then walk around it Clockwise — an experience that can prove so Meditative that you may find Peace Of Mind!

This magnificent Stupa is the perfect place to watch the sunrise and for stargazing, where the stars and moon are magnified for you to view the majestic night sky.

Even on a moonless night, you can see thousands of stars and listen for the sounds of nature blending together, the sky, mountains, earth, water, mind and spirit for a memorable experience.

Stupa stargazing

Stargazing can be a beautiful solitary experience, a romantic couples adventure or for the whole family to connect and spend quality time together.
